BCC History

Bassett Country Club is a well established local country club, with a rich historical heritage. The club was founded in 1926. Soon after the Great Depression, the first club house was built near the location of our present day swimming pool. Many former furniture industry executives played very important roles in the leadership and development of BCC. In 1975, a beautiful new clubhouse was erected that offers full dining and banquet room facilities, as well as a golf pro shop.

Over the past few years, many improvements have been made to our Club House. The upstairs restaurant, bar, and ball room facilities have been completely remodeled in recent years, the swimming pool has been refurbished, and a beautiful stone entrance has been erected. Our golf course is beautiful and well manicured, with Bermuda Grass Fairways, and Bent Grass Greens.  The landscape is hilly, tree lined, and has a fountain pool at one of the lower greens.  Our course is as challenging, as it is beautiful.

We cordially invite you to stop by our pro shop and dining facility to see first hand what we enjoy so much.
